Wow! What a great turnout. Seems like all you have to do is mention food to this chapter and everyone turns out. Marty sent an E-mail and alerted the phone tree to tell everyone that on Sunday, 6-4-07 we were going to ride over to Crescent City for Clam Chowder and or Fish and Chips.
Three Trikes (Marty-Carmen, Dick-Joyce, Don-Judy) and eight bikes (Larry-Bonnie, Bud-Gariann and Friend Walter, Don-Lalla, Gary-Janet, Clarence, Hans and Herb-Lois) all showed up and it was an absolutely gorgeous day. We had a little high fog at the ocean but that is to be expected.
I think everyone had an excellent time but we did miss those who couldn't make it for one reason or other. We know that Betty was just getting over the flu and besides it was her Birthday (we could have ordered cake but instead stopped at DQ). Anyway, we missed all those who couldn't attend.
Hope everyone rides a little extra cautious during this excellent weather. Some drivers have had a little too much celebrating and are not looking for motorcycles when the lady next to them is wearing short shorts.
