Last month I asked Judy to put up an article about Snell tested Helmets but have read more information about helmet testing and have formed some new opinions thanks to Lewis Osborn, Chapter M RED who led me to the article. Thanks Lewis.
It is a very long read but when you consider that you only have one head to protect it is well worth the effort. It is a detailed study of the pros and cons of DOT verses Snell. I won’t attempt to copy the article here or recommend one or the other, that’s your job, "it’s your head".

I know everyone is anxious to climb on that beautiful bike and ride and we have had some beautiful clear days but cold. Watch those shady spots, they can hold black ice all day long even on a nice day. In the paper tonight was 7 auto accidents due to Ice so please be careful and ride safe.
